The 2023 Hyundai Verna comes with two engine options, namely the 1.5-litre MPi petrol and the 1.5-litre Turbo GDi petrol, both of which are compliant with the forthcoming real driving emission (RDE) regulations and are E20 fuel-compatible.
The 1.5-litre MPi petrol engine in the 2023 Verna can be paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission (MT) or an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) automatic. On the other hand, the 1.5-litre Turbo GDi petrol engine is available with a 6-speed MT and a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) automatic.
The 2023 Hyundai Verna will compete against other mid-sized sedans such as the 2023 Honda City facelift, Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus, and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
Considering the latest features and technologies, we anticipate the price of the 2023 Hyundai Verna to be somewhat higher than its predecessor, ranging from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom). The previous Verna was priced between Rs 9.64 lakh and Rs 15.72 lakh (ex-showroom).
