A new ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 laptop with two displays has been released in India by Lenovo. In addition to the main 17.3-inch screen, the laptop also has a second 8-inch screen right next to the touchpad. According to the company, the secondary display “greatly complements the hybrid work requirements of small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) by helping them increase productivity.”. The secondary screen, which is still larger than most smartphones, comes with a pen to help users create on it. Despite having two large monitors, the ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 weighs only 2 kg.
Price of Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 in India
Starting at Rs 1,94,990, the ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 will be available for purchase. Lenovo’s official online and physical retail outlets are the only places where you can buy the laptop.
At the time of writing, the laptop was still not listed on the official Lenovo India website.
Specifications for the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3
The 17.3-inch ultra-wide display on the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 has a 21:10 aspect ratio, a 3K resolution (3072×1440 pixels), touch support, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. With an HD resolution of 800×1280 pixels, the secondary 8-inch display is touch-enabled. The laptop is quite large, with measurements of 410.9 x 230.2 x 17.95 mm.
It is driven by a 14-core, 12th generation Intel Core i7-12700H processor. In addition to the processor, the system includes Intel Iris Xe graphics, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM that has been soldered, a 1TB SSD, and M.2 2280 PCIe 4point 0x4 NVMe storage. Dual speakers with a 2W output and support for Dolby Atmos are also features of the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3. Lenovo emphasizes that Harman and Kardon provides the audio. There is only one color option for the ThinkBook Plus Gen 3: grey. Similar to the ThinkBook 14 Gen 4 and ThinkBook 15 Gen 4, the ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 uses environmentally friendly designs and sustainable packaging materials.
The laptop comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro because it is designed for professionals. A security IR camera is compatible with Windows Hello and has a privacy shutter. The 69Wh battery in the laptop offers up to 6.5 hours of backup time on the MobileMark battery test. On the underside are the IO ports. There is an HDMI port, two USB-A ports, and a USB-C port with charging support.
